Kennebec Lake is located near Arden, Ontario. It is a beautiful body of water, one of the largest in the area at around 14 kilometers long, and one of the main reasons all of our visitors love it here so much (and us too, admittedly)!
And it's not just about the boating and fishing... it is loved and protected by the people of Arden and Central Frontenac: the Kennebec Lake Association monitors the health of the lake's water quality and ecosystems, and ensures that we will always have a clean place to live and spend our vacations.
We have our own private spot at the south end in a large bay-- we offer excellent fishing, boating, tubing and waterskiing... and even guided tours!
Our private beach is a family favourite too, of course. It features swimming docks, a waterslide, a trampoline and two playgrounds! And we like to host occasional evening bonfires and SAND CASTLE COMPETITIONS!
You remember fun, don't you?
Feel like relaxing instead, you say? No worries! Kick back and marvel at the hummingbirds, admire the aerial skills of the distant osprey and watch the busy river otters. You may even see a black bear or moose as you sip your cocktail on the cottage deck. Most units face west too, so you get beautiful sunset views every night.
There really are too many little things about Kennebec Lake and Springwood Cottages to list here... you have to come see it to understand!
"Everything's better at the lake," says everyone who knows anything.
The Fishing Ain't Bad Either!
Not only can you RENT A BOAT for your Kennebec fishing adventure, but we arrange regular tutorials for beginners here at Springwood Cottages... and ask about our guided fishing tours! We want all our visitors to feel comfortable heading out on the lake.
